Rochester: Born Aug. 21, 1920, passed peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at age 90. Loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. Predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Barnard; and brother, Paul E. Philipps. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (David) Binn; sons, Daniel (Mary) and Thomas (Audrey) Barnard; grandchildren, Michael (Nancy), Matthew, Amy Binn, Thomas (Rhonda), Eric, Jonathan (Laura), Daniel (Melissa), Laura Barnard, and Timothy (Erica) Russell; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Father John J. Philipps; sister-in-law, Eleanor Philipps; many nieces & nephews.
Mary was a retiree of Blue Cross & Blue Shield.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, Nov. 30, 4:30-6:30 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd., immediately followed by interment at Creekside Cemetery in Churchville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 or a favorite charity of choice in Mary's memory.
