Spencerport- Mary Monica "Mae" Pozzuolo, 98, passed away on October 31, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Mae was born in Rochester, NY on July 24, 1923 to the late Anthony and Maria DiCiaccio. She was the beloved wife to the late Enrico A. (Ed) Pozzuolo until his passing in 2012. Mae's life goal was to be a loving and caring wife, and mother, and to provide love and guidance for her family. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and especially her 9 grandchildren, her 12 great grandchildren, and her 1 great-great grandchild.
She is survived by her 4 sons, Edward (Rosella) Pozzuolo, Gerald (Michele) Pozzuolo, Richard (Cathy) Pozzuolo, and Raymond (Sharon) Pozzuolo; her 9 grandchildren; and her brother, Robert (Jean) DiCiaccio; Sister-In-Law Jane Denton; and many, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
She is predeceased by her sister, Marietta Mitrano, and her brothers, Frank Denton, Arthur DiCiaccio, and Cosmo DiCiaccio.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 10am-12pm, at the Newcomer Funeral Home on Ridgeway Ave, with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mae's name to the Wilmont Cancer Center, PCAWNY.org
