Chili: Passed into God's loving arms Wednesday, November 25, 2009. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Cummings; son-in-law, Michael S. Murdy; brothers, Frank, George; sister, Olga. Survived by her children, Patricia Cummings-Murdy of Santa Barbara, CA, Richard (Christine) Cummings, Raleigh, NC, Johanna Cummings, Christine (Gabriel) Magliocco and Catherine (Mark) O'Connor; grandchildren, Seann Cummings, Stephanie and Gabriel Magliocco, Shannon and Kelly O'Connor; sister, Helen Stauffer; sister-in-law, Mary R. Cummings; many nieces and nephews; dear friend, Art Scheid and all of her friends at College Green Generations and Westwood Commons.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family and the many friends whose lives she touched. Mom loved flowers, dancing and had a great sense of humor.
Calling hours will be held Friday November 27th from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday November 28th at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Angels at St. Michael's Church, 869 N. Clinton Avenue. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Mary may make contributions to St. Michael's Church or to Lifetime Care Hospice of Rochester (Hildebrant Hospice Care Center), 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623.
