Predeceased by her, husband of 71 years, Donald J. Schmitt.
She is survived by her Children, Donald T. (Connie) Schmitt, Barbara (Bob) Masiulis and Steven Schmitt; grandchildren, Laura (Evan) Davies, Michael Schmitt, Sara (Johnny) Weimerskirk, Dan and Chris Masiulis; great-grandchildren, Parker,Taya and Hunter. Sister, Lee Costanza. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary was born in Rochester, NY on May 5, 1926. She was 2 months shy of her 98th birthday. She was known and loved by the staff of Latta Rd. Nursing Home where she passed away. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Her mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am Saturday March 16, 2024 at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mount Read Blvd. (corner of Latta Rd.) Please assemble at the church. The family will begin receiving guest at 10:00am in the church alcove.
Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Resurrection Garden Mausoleum, 2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612, enter via Dewey Ave. gate across from McCall Rd.
