Mary St. George, born in Valguarnera, Sicily, in 1924, peacefully passed away after 100 years, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy. At the tender age of 5, Mary emigrated to America with her parents, Angelo and Carmela Costanzo, where they began their new life.
In 1947, Mary married the love of her life, Joseph St. George, and together they built a beautiful family. She was a devoted mother to her three children: Phillip (Carol Anne), Robert (Mary Jo), and Lucille. Her family continued to grow with the addition of her beloved grandchildren Kailey (Jonathan), Ryan, Kyle, and great-grandchildren Zalen, Landon, Leona and Virgil.
After becoming a widow in 1989, Mary demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience. She embraced life with renewed vigor, immersing herself in various activities, making new friends, and exploring the world through her travels. Her ever-present smile and kind words left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Mary's infectious joy and positive spirit made others feel uplifted and happy in her presence.
Mary had a passion for dancing, a joy she continued to indulge in even while using a walker. Her love for life and indomitable spirit were truly inspiring to all who met her.
Mary St. George will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her warmth and kindness.
