Matthew Steward

Passed away peacefully with family by his side, after a 21-month battle with lung cancer.

Predeceased by his parents, Francis and Rosemary Steward; & his brother, Rodney Steward.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years (13 years married), Nancy Steward; brother, Craig Steward; brothers-in-law, David (Marybeth) Magoffin, Joe Magoffin, and Robert (Norma) Rendsland; nephews, Brian (Delaney) Magoffin, Kyle (Alyssa) Magoffin, & Andrew Rendsland; nieces, Amy Steward, Erin Steward Pollay, & Amanda Rendsland; great-nephews, Fitzs Magoffin, Bodi Magoffin, & Derek Ward; great-nieces, Rory Rosemary Magoffin Kensley, Jules Magoffin, & Brooklyn Pollay; special aunt Sr Rosemary St. Peter SSJ.; lots of cousins, friends and family; special friend for 40 years, Alonzo Perkins, & 2 special ladies known as his daughters, Heather and Amy Wilson.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 20th, 9:30am at St. Theodore Catholic Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sisters of St. Joseph, 150 French Road Rochester, NY 14618, or a charity of your choice.
