Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 at the age of 62. Matt is survived by his loving husband, Rob Nowlan of 22 years; children, Jennifer Zingaro, John (Paige) Zingaro; grandchildren, Anthony, Avery, Dominic and Samuel Zingaro; parents, Anna and Howard Bernola; sisters, Catherine (John) Lembo and Lucille (Richard) Mondy along with many nieces, nephews; "cousin'', Tina Vito; extended family; friends and beloved dogs, Missy and Mia.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021 from 1PM - 5PM at New Comer Funeral Home 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 24th, 2021 at 9:30AM at St. Theodore's Catholic Church 168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Matthew's name to National Brain Tumor Society at www.Braintumor.org and/or at Strong Memorial Hospital's Palliative Care Program online at .
