Rochester: Peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2007, at age 86, with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Margaret; sons, Alan, Robert (Ellen), and Steven (Kateri); daughters, Jan (Joe) Matacchiera and Donna (Don) Zimmerman; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Vito (Fern), along with nieces, nephews and friends. Maurice was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WW II and a retiree of the U.S. Post Office after 41 years of service.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 24, from 4-8 PM at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 9:15AM in St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
