He passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 6, 2023 at the age of 89.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Lou (Olver); parents, Patrick & Rose (Campbell) Flanagan; brothers, John (Margaret), James, William (Ann), Joseph (Rose), Martin (Kathleen) & Eugene; nephews, Robert, Michael & William; daughter-in-law, Richelle Flanagan.
He is survived by his brother, Patrick (Alice) Flanagan; children, James Flanagan, Rosemary (Joe) Polozzi, Michele Flanagan, Daniel Flanagan, Colleen (Frederick) Kane, Shawn (Kristen) Sherman; grandchildren, Heather (Lamont); Brandon (Liliya), Brittany (Jeremiah), Joseph (Megan), Rachel (Joseph), Michael (Heather), Christy (Dominic), Dominic, Mary & Daniel; great-grandchildren, Sha'mere, Corey, Justice, Tavonni, Cameron, Julian, Bria, Taleah, Ty'zae, Madelyn, Sophia, Joseph, Brody, Wesley, Timmy, Bella, Mason & Nila; great-great-grandchild, Sha'mere Jr.; & many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends Sunday November 12, 2023 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Inurnment will be held Monday November 13, 2023 at 10:00am meeting at the front gate at White Haven Memorial Park.
