Passed away peacefully, after a long illness on Tuesday December 26th 2023 at age 17.
Mikey is survived by his mother & father Heather & Michael Gunkel Jr., sisters, Elizabeth & LeAnn,
grandparents, John & Joanne Ruby, & Michael Gunkel Sr. & Deborah Rowe, uncle Jason (Barbara) Ruby, aunt Janevra Gunkel, cousins, many, many friends and his best furry friend, Cosmo.
Mikey was a graduate of Webster Schroeder High School.
Mikey loved bowling, basketball, video games, anime, and spending time with his friends & family.
His Freshman year in High School, he was the MVP of the Basketball Team.
He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
Family will be present to receive friends & family Wednesday January 10th from 3:30pm to 7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. Rochester.
A celebration of Mikey's Life will be celebrated at a later date.
