On Saturday, August 5, 2006, at age 84. He is predeceased by his wife, Irene, son, Michael, Jr. and brother, Gerald. He is survived by his children, Sue(Peter)Carlevatti, Sandy(George)Antropoli, Denise(Chuck)Meech; and daughter-in-law, Faye Lioy; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Alperone; sister-in-law, Jean Lioy; other brothers and sisters-in-law, along with several nieces and nephews. Michael was an US Army veteran serving during WWII.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9 from 4-8PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 9:15AM in St. Ambrose Church. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Camp Good Days and Special Times.
