While on outings with family, generally to restaurants, they were able to enjoy his stories and will forever cherish them. Despite the disabilities that were a part of his life, Michael stood tall and firm, never taking anyone's shit. He was a figure of strength, facing adversity with a fierce defiance that inspired pride among his family and friends.
Michael leaves behind a loving family who will carry his memory with them always. His sisters, Debbie Monahan and Patty (Russ) Loop, along with his nieces—Lisa Nudo, Paula (Dan) Looman, Jillian, and Pamela Hart; his great nephews and great great nephew and nieces will all miss him deeply. They remember him not just for the struggles he faced, but also for the love that flowed endlessly from his heart.
Michael is reunited in spirit with his beloved parents, Gerry and Elsie Monahan, and his sisters, Carolyn Stark and Diane Hart, who welcomed him with open arms after his passing. Together in the peace beyond, they continue to be cherished in the hearts of those who remain.
