Rochester: Passed February 15, 2008 at age 60 surrounded by loving family. Predeceased by his parents, Edward & Madeline Powers. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail; children, Tammy (Billy Wheater) Powers, Amy (Mike) Cronin, Mikey Powers and their mother, Sharon Powers; step-son, Rick (Tara) Guck; grandchildren, Xavier, Zoey, Zachary, Tyler, Devon and Alex; sister, Gail (Lloyd) Christ; special brother-in-law, George (Anna) Cond; uncle, Hugo Stuhler; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. He was a member of American Legion Post #273.

Friends may attend calling hours 4-8 PM Monday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., followed by a Funeral Service at 8 PM. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association, 200 Westfall Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
