Michael F. Palozzilo of Merritt, Michigan
Passed away peacefully at Belle Oakes of Lake City, Michigan on November 7, 2017 with family in attendance. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Carlotta Myers Palozzilo of Merritt, Michigan. He was born on July 26, 1920 in New York to Joseph and Catherine (Minatella) Palozzilo.
He married Rose Muratore of Rochester, New York. She predeceased him on April 2, 1994. He was a World War II Navy veteran and proudly served his country. Michael worked for Bonds Clothing in Buffalo and Rochester, New York as a tailor for many years, and later as a supervisor at Fashion Park in Whiteville, North Carolina.
He is survived by his brother, Sam Palozzolo, stepchildren Pamela (Steve) Ruzic of Garland, Texas, Camille (Paul) Lipke of Harrietta, Michigan, Richard Walsh of Hazelhurst, Georgia, and Melody (Alade) Aleshiloye of Sugar Grove, North Carolina and nine step-grandchildren Jessica (Alex) Beardsley, Brooks Fauble, Hiliary Fauble, Angela Trowbridge, Roberta (Michael) Wadle, Paul K. Lipke, Melody (Sean) Austin, Dolly (Joey) Reaves and Michael (Iris) White, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in law, Pauline (Paul) Brown, daughter-in-law, Joyce Palozzilo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
They had one son, Michael J. Palozzilo who predeceased him in February 2016 and his step-daughter Carla Walsh predeceased him in January 2016. Also his siblings, Anthony (Tony) Palozzolo, Rose Palazzolo, Philamena Palazzolo, Phyllis Christiansen, and Joseph Palozzolo predeceased him.

Mass of Christian burial will be 9:30 am Thursday November 16, 2017 at St. Jerome's Church 207 Garfield St, East Rochester, NY 14445. Interment, All Saint's Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612. Full Naval military honors to follow committal service.
