Predeceased by his father, Elmer Vanderburgh.
Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Karen Vanderburgh. Mother, Dolores Vanderburgh. Children, Kim (Ben) Rudd, Matthew (Cheryl) Vanderburgh, Joseph Vanderburgh. Grandchildren, Lucas, Isaac, Vincent, Nina, Ava. Sisters, Carrie (James) Brien, Linda Cavey. Loving pet, Peanut. Several nieces and nephews. Best friends, Norm (Luci) Morrill, Simon (Tamara) Levin.
Mike was a retired engineer for Delphi Technologies, a school bus operator for Greece Central School District. He will be sadly missed by so many. Mike was a devoted Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan.
Friends and family may call 4-7 pm Tuesday August 31, 2021 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to Rochester Animal Services, 184 Verona St, Rochester, NY 14608 in memory of Mike.
