ROCHESTER- Michael "Shakey" Winters, 73, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
Shakey was born in Rochester, NY on March 26, 1949 to Roslyn and Joseph Winters. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After his military service he went to work for Xerox. Mike loved Hockey, and going out to dinner with his family and friends.
He is predeceased by his father, Joseph.
He is survived by his mother, Roslyn, his wife, Barbara Robinson Winters, his children, Jason E. Winters, and Ashley (Glen) Burgess, his step-children, Latoya Pressley, William Pressley, and Reshard Gibson, his grandchildren, Maxwill, and Reece, his close friend James 'Pizza' Pizzutelli, all his friends at the Amerks, and a host of friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 10am-12pm, with a service to immediately follow.
