Battisti, Michelina "Mickey" (Bovenzi)
Gates: Thursday, November 22, 2007 at age 82. She is survived by her loving husband whom she married this day 57 years ago, Anthony "Tony"; daughters, Josette Battisti and Rosanne (Gary) Baxter; grandchildren, Philip and Deanna Schwartz, Scott, Alex and Nick Baxter; sisters, Clara Spallina and Agnes Annechino; sisters-in-law, Mary DiBiase and Mary Battisti; several nieces, nephews and special friend, Dorothy Garcia. Predeceased by her sisters, Sr. Mary Daniel, SSJ and Rita Celentani. Mickey was one of the founding members of St. Jude the Apostle Church.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the loving caregivers on the 3rd floor at Park Ridge Living Center.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass, Monday at 10 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Road. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ALS Association, Upstate New York Chapter, P.O. Box 127, Elbridge, NY 13060 or Masses may be offered in Mickey's memory.
