Passed away peacefully at home Thursday, December, 22, 2022 at age 74.
Predeceased by husband, Humberto Calderon Marquez, and her parents Raul and Ramona Collazo.
Minerva is survived by her children, Cassandra (Larry) Marquez-Baker, Yolanda (Cesario Sr.) Irizarry, Paula Collazo and James (Margie) Collazo; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, siblings, Cesar (Mary), Carmen, Edwin (Alice), Luz, Raymond (Glenda), Ruth and Juan and many nieces and nephews.
Minerva cherished time spent with her entire family. She enjoyed time in the garden and was an avid collector
of salt and pepper shakers and Santa Clause's. Though she never left the house she traveled around the world through her collections.
Calling hours will be Wednesday December 28th, from 4pm to 7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 6 Empire Blvd., where her service will follow at 7pm.
Private reception for immediate family to follow.
Contributions may be made in her name to the Childhood Diabetes Association.
