Passed away peacefully on, March 9th, 2017 at the age of 87.
Predeceased by his, parents Jay Sharp and Berneita Doughty-Purdy; brother Eddie Sharp; sister Joyce and son Dannie N. Sharp.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Janet E. Young-Sharp; daughter Sharon E. Sharp; daughter-in-law Holly J. Sharp; grandchildren Michelle (Rick) Jamison, Michael (Amy) Sharp, Chalisse Sharp, Cheryl, Charles, Kevin (Cynthia) Van Pelt, Jeremy, Jesse Leitch, Chayden, Zoe Van Pelt and Lexie Ross,great- grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan Jamison, Dylan, Johanna Sharp, Michaela Leitch and Brodie Van Pelt along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.Alfred retired from Kodak in 1986 and retired from the U.S Air Force after 41 years of service.
Family will receive friends from 4PM - 8PM, on Monday March 13th, 2017 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
A service will be held at 11AM in the All Seasons Chapel on Tuesday March 14th, 2017 at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Fairport NY.
