Nancy A. Anzalone

October 13, 1949 — January 29, 2025

Rochester, New Comer

Nancy Arlene Anzalone, born October 13th, 1949, in Rochester, NY was sent to be an angel on January 29th, 2025.

Nancy was a kind hearted ray of sunshine for all that had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on earth was marked most by spreading love to her husband, children, and grandbabies. Her passing will forever leave a huge hole in the hearts of her loved ones.

Nancy was 1 of 6 children, 3 of which remain on earth, who Nancy loved dearly, and called almost everyday, Martha Linder, Patricia Kelly, and James Kelly, as well as her sister-in-law Donna Kelly. Today, she is with her mother and father, Eppie and Byron Kelly, alongside her 2 brothers Randy and Eddie in Heaven.

Nancy cherished her time spent with her loved ones and only ever wanted to be a great mother. She is survived by her husband Jerry Anzalone, 2 children Teresa Anzalone and Joseph Anzalone, her grandchildren Andrew Anzalone, Chelsea Anzalone, Alyssia Nguyen, Mariah Nguyen, Alex Anzalone, Ariana Anzalone, and Anthony Anzalone and her great granddaughter Rosalina Sky Liang-Anzalone. She helped raise each and every one of them and will forever hold a special place in each of their hearts.

There are no words to express how much Nancy was blessed to have such selfless grandchildren to help her through her hardships. Andrew dedicated his late 20’s and early 30’s to Nancy, as she did the same to him her whole life. She was eternally grateful to him and loved him as her own.

In her early life, Nancy loved the art of fashion and photography. She enjoyed taking the pictures, knowing she would be able to look back at all the fun times everyone had together. She loved to take walks and meet new people. She wanted everyday to be an adventure! Later in life, Nancy spent many of her years baking cookies and playing games with her children and grandchildren, watching soap-operas, doing dishes, and chatting. She was always known for her long, Rapunzel-like hair along with her love for sweet treats, especially chocolate.

In her later part of life, Nancy became a great grandmother to Rosalina. They loved to sing, play, listen to Dolly Parton, and tell stories together.

We suggest you listen to Nancy’s favorite song, Sunday Morning Coming Down by Johnny Cash in remembrance of her lively personality and love for music.

We ask that you remember her, not for the way her life on earth ended, but for the way it was lived, as it had a profound impact on those who had the honor of knowing her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
