Peacefully with loved ones at age 74. Nancy is survived by her two children, Kerry L. Spindler of Boston, Massachusetts and Shawn J. Spindler of Rochester, New York; her sister, Shirley Paquette of Agawam, Massachusetts; her brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Sally Bovat of Sebring, Florida; her partner Paul Knipper of Rochester, New York; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. An empathetic and intuitive caregiver, Nancy worked as a Registered Nurse for more than four decades, including many years at Park Ridge Hospital and Nursing Home in Rochester, New York. Her kindness, courage and sense of humor, even in the face of adversity, are an inspiration to us always.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, August 4th from 2-4 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Nancy's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 5th at 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue. Inurnment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Nancy's memory to Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd., Rochester, New York 14617.
