Nancy Wilfeard, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Dec 30th 2023 at her home in Irondequoit, NY.
Nancy was born in Manhattan NY, the oldest child of Bernard and Joan Zadroga.
She attended Hofstra University, graduating in 1979 with a degree in computer science and business administration.
Nancy had a long career as a Project Manager. She spent 30 years at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY as Project Manager/Business analyst.
After leaving Kodak in 2009, she worked in Project Management for companies such as: The United Way, Carestream, Xerox and RES Exhibit Services, LLC. Nancy had recently retired.
Nancy is survived by her 1st cousins, Melissa Metcalf TX, Kirk Grau TX, Wayne Grau VA and Doug Grau CA.
She is also survived by many, many close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Stephen Zadroga.
Nancy was a big lover and supporter of live music around Rochester, NY. Through music she made many friends. Nancy would always greet you with a big hug and smile every time she saw you out.
She played guitar during her college years and would play down at the local coffee shop when she could. During the past couple of years, she picked up her passion for guitar again and resumed lessons to polish her skills.
She will be greatly missed by everyone close to her.
Memorial services will be held February 18th at 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral home on Empire Blvd.
Following the service, a Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held at Iron Smoke Distillery, 111 Parce Ave, Fairport NY from 4:00pm-6:30pm.
An acoustic set of music hosted by many of Nancy's friends will take place and food will be provided to those in attendance.
Nancy was an avid supporter of Planned Parenthood and The American Cancer Society.
We ask in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to one of these organizations.
