Survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Arline Troiano. Children, Nickie (Roxanne) Troiano, Donna (Charlie) Hutton, Lori (Pat) Palermo. Grandchildren, Leah (Tom), Nick, Tony, Charlie (Amanda), Joe (Bri), Jessica (Andy), Nicholas (Chas), Stephanie (Jonathan), Josh, Mark (Chelsea). Many great grandchildren. Daughter in law, Lisa Oyer. Sister, Josephine Pompili. Sister-in-law, Claudia Troiano of Indiana, Marilyn Troiano. Nieces, Karen, Linda and Debbie who he referred to as his "special angels". Several, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Nick enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He loved fishing, gambling and going to the casino with Arline. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. All of his friends would come to his house to play cards including Pinochle, Hearts and other various games.
Nick loved to drive. He taught his children and grandchildren to drive. Nick was a school bus driver for First Student in his later years. Nick had a heart of gold, very generous and always willing to help anyone. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Family will receive friends 4-6 pm Wednesday October 23, 2024 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 22636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.). A funeral service will follow visitation in the chapel of the funeral home at 6 pm. Military honors by the US Army to precede the service.
In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association in memory of Nick.
