Tymkin, Nicholas "Nick"
Rochester: Passed Wednesday, March 18, 2009 surrounded by loving family at age 91. Predeceased by his wife, Wilma and son, Douglas. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Pamela Tymkin; grandson, Michael Tymkin; sister, Ann Stoler; sister-in-law, Gertrude Risolo.
Nick graduated from Madison High School and was an Eagle Scout. He was an avid fencer, winning a WNYS Championship at the YMCA. Nick was a WWII Army Veteran, later worked for Rochester Products where he also was the Editor of the Union Paper. Nick was a published author of 3 books. Special thanks to the 2 West and rehabilitation staff of Shorewinds Nursing Home for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Monday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
