Norman J. Vella

Norman J Vella passed away on May 31, 2021 at the age of 77 surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 15, 1944 in Rochester, NY. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges. Despite the pain, Norm kept his sense of humor until the end.

Norm is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Vita Vella and sister, Maryann Fox. He is survived by his three daughters, Jaime (Mike) Dermody, Ann Marie (Matt) Pettine, Karen Vella; son Michael Vella; he was a proud Papa to his three grandsons, Greyson, Christian and Jackson Dermody; sisters, Elaine (Stan) Jones, Louise Smyth and brother Jack (Tracy) Vella.

Calling hours will be Thursday June 3, 12:30-2:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Burial following immediately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
