Charlotte - Passed away on June 14, 2024 at the age of 90.
Predeceased by his parents, DeWitt & Fanchon Noxon.
He is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 61 years, Nancy (Mosher) Noxon; daughters, Mindy Noxon & Vicki (Geoffrey) Waterman; grandchildren, Nicole Lucas, DeWitt (Brittany) Noxon, Caleb Waterman, Marissa (Paris Gill) Waterman, & Walter Bishop; great-grandchildren, Wesley Rivera, Elouise Fanchon Brennan, & Oliver Brennan; sister, Nola (Dan) Fiorillo; many nieces & nephews.
Orlo was born in Huntersland, Ny and graduated from Draper High School in Schenectady, Ny. His career started with the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic. He served in the Korean War and after discharge from the military, his love of airplanes led him to Spartan School of Aeronautics to become a licensed aircraft mechanic. During his career with American Airlines, he met the love of his life, Nancy Mosher, getting married in 1963 and having two beautiful daughters: Mindy and Vicki. Orlo settled his family in Rochester and transitioned his career to Eastman Kodak Company, retiring in the early nineties. Orlo always valued service to his country and others. He became a Freemason with unity Lodge #479, a member of the Damascus Shrine, and the Scottish Rite-Valley of Rochester. The family continued to grow and Orlo had many years to share his love of the outdoors, expertise of working with his hands and life lessons that always tied back to the importance and love of family.
His Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 3000 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, Ny 14616
