Fairport: Went home Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at age 98. She is predeceased by her husband, Leon; son, Richard; granddaughters, Sharon Brooker, Dawn Grasby; daughter-in-law, Eunice Grasby and granddaughter-in-law, Sandy Grasby. She is survived by her children, Lloyd and Leon Jr., (Althea); daughter-in-law, Joyce; many many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Park; sister-in-law, Margaret Skippen; and several nieces and nephews. Orpha was a member of the Degree of Pocahontis I.O.R.M. and the Order of the Eastern Star.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 22 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where a Funeral Service will be held Friday at 10 AM. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hope Hall, 1612 Buffalo Rd., Rochester, NY 14624.
