Ozzie passed peacefully into the larger life at home to be embraced by God at 85 years old.

He is survived by his adoring wife of 54 years Mary Lou Hanson Ferrara.

Predeceased by his parents, and brothers Andrew and Al.

Also survived by sisters in law, Helen Francis and Dr. Linda Hanson, as well as several dear nieces and nephews.

Ozzie and Mary Lou enjoyed many years of friendship with, Marilyn and Don Toal, Peggy and Herman Todter, John Crandall, Mary Perry, Ann Griffo, Carol Meloni, the Frank Drago family, Cheryl and Dave Chivaro and Eveline and Don Wasylina; special neighbors, Don and Lisa Gibson.

Ozzie was the former owner of Regional Poultry and Egg Service with office and warehouse at Jefferson Rd. Regional Market. He also operated two outlets at the Public Market in Rochester. He was affectionately known as "Ozzie the Egg man" or "Chicken man" by many of his customers.

Following his wishes there will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be announced in early Spring.
