As the rain turned to a beautifully clear day, Oscar passed on to join his wife Ruth. He is survived by his family, Stephen (Diana) Hauser, Veronica (Stephen) Ferriss, Claudia Hauser, Gregory Hauser, Paula (Jon), Michael Hauser, Monica Bonamego, Teresa Barattini; grandchildren, Rachael, Deanna, Alexander, Stephen, and Jack; sister, Margarita DiTota; brother-in-law, Arthur Erz. He had a life-long interest in music, played the violin, and was concert master with the Greece Symphony Orchestra. As a research scientist, for Xerox, he made significant contributions toward the advancement of imaging technology and authored numerous patents.
Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 AM Friday at Corpus Christi Church, 864 East Main St. Private interment in Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, New Jersey.
