Tim was born January 25, 1946, in Cincinnati, OH. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul T. Carroll and Jane C. (Stenzel) Carroll, his wife of 25 years, Mary Anne (Rossi) Carroll, and his son, Ryan J. Carroll.
Tim is survived by his daughter, Ashley Jane (Carroll) Hall, and her husband, William Hall, of Atlanta, GA. Tim was also the proud “Papa Tim” to his granddaughter, Riley Anne Carroll, of Syracuse, NY.
Tim is survived by his siblings, Tom Carroll of Sarasota, FL, Barbara Carroll Lyons of New Albany, OH, Joan Carroll Loukotka of Ann Arbor, MI, Jim Carroll of Ft. Myers, FL, Patrick Carroll Sr. of Charleston, SC, Mary Carroll of Islamorada, FL, and Michael Carroll of Greenwood, IN, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tim was an executive at Xerox in Rochester, NY, where he retired after 40 years of service. Notably, he was certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Many friends and family benefitted from Tim’s passion for genealogy. Not only did he prepare the complete genealogies of the Carroll and Rossi families, but he pursued genealogy research for many friends and acquaintances. Tim even received special recognition for his work from a national genealogical organization.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
