Pastora Lucy was a devoted wife, mother, pastor, & teacher. She LOVED people — to learn from them, to love on them, to teach them, and to lead them. She held education in high regard, ensuring her children always received the best, and encouraging others to do the same. There's not a person she met that wasn't influenced by her charisma. Lucy loved to travel, having visited Israel (where she was baptized in the Jordan River), Rome (where she toured the catacombs of the early Christians), Costa Rica, Key West, & more! She especially enjoyed visiting Disney World in Orlando, and spending time with Mickey & Minnie Mouse. (If you weren't aware, she really loved the palm trees and the sea). But most of all she loved her family, (immediate and extended), and cherished every moment they were all together. While often regarded as a fairly serious person, those who knew her best knew that she could also be very silly and goofy. You were guaranteed some laughs at her side. Her pride & joy were her children and grandchildren, and the loving embrace of her husband.

Pastora Lucy will forever be remembered for her love of God, her love of music, and her love of people. A few of the mantras she lived by and will be remembered for…

"Where there's a will, there's a way."

"Put the Lord FIRST in everything you do."

"It's better to be safe, than sorry."

"What you confess, you possess"

"Si vas hacer algo, hazlo bien—si no, no lo hagas."

"I love yous!"
