Patricia Anderson Glassford

Patricia "Pat" Anderson Glassford, 85, died peacefully in her sleep on 4/2/24. Pat was a resident of The Jewish Home in Rochester New York for the past 5 years. The amazing staff of the memory care unit helped Pat continue to get the most out of every day, just as she did every day before dementia began her decline.

Pat was born in Thamesville, Ontario. She married Doug Glassford and they moved several times with Doug's job. Retirement took them to Boiling Springs Lake NC. In 2015 Pat and Doug's final move brought them to Fairport NY. She made great friends and wonderful adventures every place they lived. She had a love for life that was infectious.

Pat is predeceased by her husband, Doug. She will be missed by her children, Robin (Craig) Spadt, Patti (Marvin) Langley, Bill, & Todd (Carole), grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her family will have a small private Ceremony of Life at a later date. And, we know she would loved that she died on the first palindrome of 2024! 4/2/24 on the American calendar. 24/2/4 on the Canadian calendar.
