Patricia Cummings-Murdy

Passed away on, January 26, 2025 at the age of 82. 

Predeceased by her parents, Richard A. & Mary R. Cummings; husband, Michael S. Murdy.

She is survived by her brother, Richard Cummings of Georgia; sisters, Johanna Cummings, Christine (Gabriel) Magliocco, Catherine (Mark) O'Connor, & nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Pattie was a graduate of St. Agnes High School, 1960, & Rochester Business Institute. 

Since the mid 1960's, Pattie spent her life in Southern California, returning to Rochester in 2021. Pattie was employed for many years as an Executive Assistant to the president of Brooks Institute of Photography. She was an avid volunteer for many causes, most notably the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 218 Santa Barbara, serving as Chaplain.

Pattie's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Wegman Family Cottages, 300, for their compassionate & dedicated care.

Family will receive friends Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 11:00 - 12:00 pm, a service to immediately follow at 12:00 pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
