Patrick Milligan

Patrick Milligan, born on January 19, 1945, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025. A man of many talents and passions, Patrick had a rich career that encompassed a variety of roles, including work as a heavy equipment operator in construction, a tool maker, and a small engine repair specialist. His dedication to his craft was evident as he traveled across the state, contributing to the creation of numerous buildings which he took great pride in sharing with those around him.

An avid learner, Patrick held many technical certifications that showcased his commitment to skill development and excellence in his trades. He possessed a remarkable ability to recall intricate details about vehicles, often astonishing friends and strangers alike with his knowledge of the make, model, and year from great distances. This ability was just one glimpse into his vibrant personality, which delighted in storytelling and sharing experiences.

Patrick found immense joy in several hobbies, particularly fishing and working on cars, pastimes that allowed him to connect with nature and indulge his mechanical inclinations. He cherished the time spent traveling with his family, creating lasting memories that would be treasured for generations to come. He and Gail enjoyed many rides through the country on his motorcycle as well. Above all, Patrick's proudest accomplishment was his family, whom he devotedly loved and supported throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved children, Dana (Steve), Ken, Edward (Nancy), and Patrick (Stephanie). His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Alice, Danyka, Carter, Savannah, Tyler (Brooke), and Alyssa. Patrick also leaves behind his dear cat, TigerLily, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember his joyous spirit and the stories he so readily shared.

Patrick was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Gail; his daughter, Yvonne; and his parents, Roy and Alice. He is also reunited with his siblings, Susan, Ginger, and Mike.

Though he is no longer with us, Patrick Milligan’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His warmth, stories, and incredible skills will be remembered fondly.

The family will hold a private memorial service at their convenience.
