Peacefully passed from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
Patsy was born in Liberty, NY 1942. Graduated from SUNY New Paltz and received graduate degrees from SUNY Geneseo.
A Librarian and teacher of English and media science, she taught for 38 years in the public school system of New York State, beginning her career in Livingston Manor and retiring from Greece Central School District in 2002. Patsy was a life-long member of NYSUT and NEA and an active member of two sororities, Delta Kappa Gamma and Beta Eta.
She cared deeply about politics and was an active member of the 28th Democratic Congressional District of Rochester, NY. Also passionate about the environment. She served 10 years as a member and or chairman of The Rochester Environmental Committee.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years; John T. Noble Sr. Step-son; John Noble Jr., his wife Jan and two children. Brother and sister-in-law; Hamlin and Kathy Robertson of Boise, Idaho and sister; Kathleen Dailey of Oneonta, NY.
Friends may call NEXT SUNDAY August 2, 2020 1-2:30 pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) Funeral services will follow visitation in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:30 pm.
Patsy will be fondly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Rochester & Finger Lakes Region, 435 E Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14620.
