Rochester:
February 27, 2020 at age 76, after a long illness. Survived by his beloved daughter, Sarah (Brett) Bell, his former wife, Kathy Tomaselli, and members of her extended family.
Paul was the author of over 30 novels, as well as a creative writing instructor and speaker about the craft of writing at local book stores. Even after he became ill, his students remained in touch with him and visited him regularly.

His family wishes to thank the staff at The Brook at High Falls Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where loving care was provided throughout his illness.
Per Paul's wishes, there will be no service. However, friends wishing to remember him may make a donation to The Humane Society of Greater Rochester/Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
