Paul Burnham of Webster NY, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Born on March 2, 1945, Paul was an engineer and innovator during his 34 years at Xerox Corporation where he contributed to numerous technological advancements and held multiple patents. His passion for engineering and problem-solving shaped his legacy. Paul was a Veteran of the US Navy, having served on the James K. Polk submarine as a Missile Technician. In retirement, Paul loved working at the Webster Public Library. For many years beginning in 1995 Paul volunteered at the Hill Cumorah Pageant as a participant and Zion’s Camp Director. Paul was also an avid genealogist
Paul was a dedicated husband to his beloved wife Debra, with whom he shared a life full of love, laughter and companionship. He was a devoted father to his three children, Jessamy (Cliff) Lancaster, Paula (Justin) Brown and Charles (Lisa) Burnham. Also survived by his sister Diane Newcombe. Paul was predeceased by his parents George and Elsie Burnham, his brother Winifred Burnham and sister Nancy Sheedy. Paul’s family was everything to him, cherishing time with his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Beyond his professional and family accomplishments, Paul was known for his kind heart and generous spirit. He was a man who valued integrity, hard work and always took the time to listen to others. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his contributions to his family, his church community and his profession, all which he loved dearly.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 11am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 275 Whipple Lane, Rochester NY 14622. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Dementia Society of America in Paul’s name.
