Irondequoit-Paul Goverts III, 70, passed away on August 20, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family.
Paul was born on March 11, 1951 to the late Paul Jr. and Marion Goverts. On June 8, 1974 Paul married the love of his life, Mary Ellen. They were married for 47 years and together they raised two children. He was a retired employee of Thompson Reuters. Paul will be remembered for his great love of family, and his passion in his life was his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ellen, his children, Paul (Claire) Goverts IV, and Heather (Karl) Collette, his grandchildren, Hana Goverts, and Paul Goverts V, his brother, Peter Goverts, and family and friends.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
