Paul graduated from John Marshall High School in 1959 as an accomplished athlete and football star. He went on to study English at the University of Rochester. Following college, he built an esteemed and award-winning career in sales and marketing with organizations including Eastman Kodak, Xerox, Sykes Datatronics, and Continental Information Systems. He later became a sought-after business consultant in the Rochester area for many decades. His professional and volunteer work brought him a great sense of pride and purpose, and he developed some of his strongest, life-long friendships through these endeavors.
Paul defined what it meant to live with passion. He was a proud father, devoted family man and friend who would be there for you at a moment's notice, no matter what. He had a big personality with strong convictions and was never short on words or wisdom. He loved his dogs, great music, playing his sax and clarinet, sailing, cooking, lively dinner parties, dancing, and fishing. He cherished his time with family and friends on international fishing trips, in the Adirondacks, and at cottages on the Finger Lakes. Above all, he loved his wife and best friend, Susan. Theirs was a love story for the ages. Paul will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held for family and friends this coming summer. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester.
