In the late night hours of August 24, 2023, God called Paulette Jones-Welch home to rest. She gently departed this life at in Rochester NY.
Paulette was the fourth of five children born in Rochester, NY to Agnes and John Jones (deceased). She was born on May 10, 1946 and graduated from West High School in 1964 and was a loyal employee of Wegmans. She grew up on Clarissa Street in Cornhill. She was a ravenous reader and an artist in her youth. She took 2 semesters at RBI. She was an Avon lady. She was a very courteous type of person who would give you anything she had.
Paulette's legacy of love and faith will always be remembered by her surviving daughter: Victoria Smith of Rochester NY.
She is also survived by her brother, Townsend Jones (Marilyn) of Gurnee, IL. and a host of nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Edward Jones; sister, Helen Smith and her husband Isaiah Smith, Noreen Greenlea and her husband, Clifford.
Family will receive friends 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday, September 7, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard.
