Peter Paul Folino passed away after a long and well-lived life. Predeceased by his wife Julia, daughter Regina, and grandson Vincent Paul Cooper.
Survived by his daughters Paula Peters Marra (Frank), Cheryl Cooper (Steven), and Wendy Frongetta (Tony), nine grandchildren and 16 (soon to be 17) great-grandchildren.
As a teenager, he traded work for flying lessons which fueled his love for aviation. He co-piloted a plane for his 88th birthday celebration.
He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and Marine Corps. He had a lifelong love and respect for all things military. Semper Fi!
He was a lifetime resident of Rochester and a retiree of the Rochester Police Department. We loved hearing his many stories about walking his beat on the West side back in a time very different from today.
Gratitude to the wonderful care he received at St. Ann's, for his loving caregivers Barb and Patty and the rest of the caring staff on the 8th floor. They remembered "no mayonnaise."
Family will receive friends 5 - 8 PM Thursday, August 19, 2021 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. His Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 20, 2021 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
