ROCHESTER- Phillip A. Bottaro, 80, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022.
Phillip was born in Syracuse, NY on August 13, 1941 to the late Anthony and Lucy Bottaro. He was the beloved husband to the late Constance "Connie" Bottaro who passed in 2019. Phillip formerly served in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, NY. He was also an educator and counselor for the Rochester City School District.
Phillip is predeceased by his beloved wife, Connie as well as his parents.
He is survived by sisters, Anne Marie Boycheck (Steven) and Mary (Judie) Thayer (John), several nieces and nephews and his devoted friend and caregiver, James Moesch.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Catholic Church, 3003 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616, on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:30am
