Phyllis and her husband (Bob) of over 60 years raised three children that gave them seven grandchildren, who were the light of Phyllis’ life. She was known for never missing an event of her grandkid’s. She treasured her time spent with not only her family, but also her neighbors and friends. Despite her long battles with cancer, she never let anything slow her down. The sparkle in her eyes and endearing smile will truly be missed.
Passed away peacefully at Mt. Carmel Hospice House on, July 27, 2024 at the age of 78.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Murray Jr.; parents, Melvin and Hazel AuClair.
She is survived by her children, Michael Murray, Kimberly (Steve DiFilippo) Rockow, Karrie (Tom) Velletri; grandchildren, Megan, Hali, Brennan, Alec, Samuel, Avery and Ava; other family members including, Karen Murray, Kay (Roger McEwen) Yager, Donald (Frani) Murray, Tom (Patty) Murray, Patti (Mark) Franks and Tim (Aya) Murray.
Phyllis' Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 3-5PM at Chateau at Heritage Square - 100 Isla Way, Brockport, NY 14420.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice House, 288 Frisbee Hill Rd., Hilton, NY 14468 in Phyllis' memory.
