Rochester: Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family after a courageous battle with Huntington's Disease Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at age 59. Predeceased by grandparents; parents, Giovanni and Maria Marella; brother, Pasquale Marella; aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister, Angela Pina (Pasquale) DeRosa; brothers, Mario (Incoronata) and Antonio (Anna) Marella; nieces and nephews, John, Robert and Daniela DeRosa, Maria (Eric) Yunker, Matilda Marella.
Family will receive friends Sunday 3-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd., Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America, P.O. Box 25237, Rochester, NY 14625.
