Passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 88 years old on Thursday January 19, 2023
Ramona is predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Enrique Ortiz Sr. who passed December 9, 2022
Survived by her Children, Josh (Tracy) Ortiz, Enrique Ortiz Jr., Rose Garcia, Johnny (Roxanne) Ortiz, Sam (Connie) Ortiz, David (Gloria) Ortiz, Leon (Tracy) Ortiz. 33 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren. Many other relatives, a host of loving friends.
Friends may call 9-11am Wednesday January 25,2023 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Funeral service will follow visitation at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
Ramona was a dedicated, loving and nurturing wife, mother and grandmother. She was described as "resilient". She was born in Puerto Rico August 31, 1934 and came to America and married the love of her life, Enrique Ortiz Sr. Raising a wonderful family Rochester became there home until they went to be with the Lord, one month apart. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends that loved her. Ramona falleció antes que su amado esposo durante 70 años, Enrique Ortiz Sr., quien falleció el 9 de diciembre de 2023.
Le sobreviven sus hijos, Josh (Tracy) Ortiz, Enrique Ortiz Jr., Rose Garcia, Johnny (Roxanne) Ortiz, Sam (Connie) Ortiz, David (Gloria) Ortiz, Leon (Tracy) Ortiz. 33 nietos, muchos tataranietos y tataranietos. Muchos otros parientes, una multitud de amigos amorosos.
Los amigos pueden llamar de 9 a 11 am el miércoles 25 de enero de 2023 a New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. El servicio funerario seguirá al velorio a las 11 am en la capilla de la funeraria. Cementerio Riverside de entierro.

Nació en Puerto Rico el 31 de agosto de 1934 y vino a Estados Unidos y se casó con el amor de su vida, Enrique Ortiz Sr. Criando una familia maravillosa, Rochester se convirtió en su hogar hasta que se fueron a estar con el Señor, con un mes de diferencia.
