Ray Wehner (1/12/1940-07/03/2020) passed peacefully in his home on Friday July 3rd from health complications.
Ray, a devoted and loving husband, is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Darlene Wehner, as well as all 6 of his children; Jane and William Corlett, Ray and Linda Wehner, Judy and Joe Amato, Ronald Wehner, Carolyn and Ron Kimball, and Terry and Maresol Wehner along with countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he constantly bragged about every chance he got.
Ray lived a full life bringing music, laughter, and smiles to all who had the pleasure to know him.
He spent countless years contributing to his community both near and far. Whether serving in the highest honor of his local Knights of Columbus, singing in his church choir or entertaining at various nursing homes with his traveling band, "The Jolly Singers", he was always the most engaging person in the room with a quick wit and infectious smile.
Ray's most impactful legacy might be his decade's long service to the Prison Ministry. Spending nearly 200 weekends in the Correction Facilities across multiple states, Ray brought the message of Christ's redemptive love to thousands of incarcerated men and women through his personal testimony and musical talents impacting hundreds if not thousands of lives eternally.
