Passed away unexpectedly on January 22nd 2022 at age 67. Predeceased by his loving mother, Joan B. Hall; mother & father-in-law, Carol H. DiRenzo & Patrick DiRenzo; sister-in-law, MaryLou Morgan. Survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Hall; children, Ray Hall Jr. (Christina), Lisa Keenan, Cara Stratmann (Kenny), Eric Hall; grandchildren, Amanda Hall (Ed), Michael Keenan & Odyn Hall; siblings, Rick Hall (Donna), Linda Agness (Bob), Lanny Hall (Karen), Karen Fedor (Mike), Kathie Welcher (Jim), Kevin Hall (Lisa), Michael DiRenzo, Patrick DiRenzo, Kip Morgan; beloved nieces & nephews, along with many other family members and a "plethora" of friends who were like family.
Ray retired from BOCES II in August 2016, where he worked for 23 years. He was a certified HVAC Tech. & Instructor, among many other talents.
Ray was fiercely devoted to the love of his life for almost 44 years. There was never a lack of smiles or laughter when he was around. He was a lover of music, collector of all and took pride in hosting at "Hall Park". He was extremely talented with percussion instruments and it gave people pure joy to watch and listen to him play the congas. Ray never turned down an opportunity to "partake". He had great passion for his role as Santa for underprivileged children.
Ray and Sharon enjoyed going to concerts, cruising around with the top down, taking day trips and enjoying their backyard. They recently crossed some things off of their bucket list. They traveled to Alaska, Aruba, NYC, Jamaica, and the Dominican. Old Forge will always be a special place in our hearts.
We invite family and friends to join us at BTB at Greece Ridge Mall for a celebration following the service. Everyone is welcome.
