Raymond Alfred Horswell
July 22, 1925 — May 20, 2017
Brighton: Passed peacefully Saturday, May 20, 2017 at age 91. He was predeceased by his son, Raymond; sisters, Doris Fullerton & Virginia Sheasby. He is survived by his sons, Stephen (Joan) Horswell, Michael (Judith) Halliday, David Horswell; and 9 grandchildren.
Raymond was a U.S. Navy Veteran who proudly served his country during WW II aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. He was also a member of the Greece American Legion Post #468. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 24th from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Thursday, 10 AM at Falls Cemetery, where Interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to Veterans Outreach Center, 459 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
