North Greece- Rebecca A. Balewick, 77, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Becky was born in Akron, OH on August 11, 1943 to the late Jack and Delores Grueser. On September 4, 1965 Becky married the love of her life, James S. Balewick. Together they raised three children. Becky was a devoted wife and mother, and for over 15 years she worked at the Greece Central School District in the cafeteria system. She will be remembered for her love of camping in the Adirondacks with her family. Her passion in life was her family.
She is predeceased by her beloved son, Randy Balewick, and her sister, Marie Kovacic.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, her children, Dan Balewick, and Lori (Sue Anne) Balewick, her grandchildren, Kara (Chris) Zimmerman, and Christopher Balewick, her great grandson, Levi Zimmerman, her brother, Ron Grueser, her daughter-in-law, Tina Balewick, and a host of family and friends.
It was Becky's wishes that services be held privately at the convenience of the family.
