Greece: At 66 years of age, Dick went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 26th, 2010 after a valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Ann M.; daughter, Laurie(Michael)Derousie; son, Jeffrey Lettis of OH; 2 step-children, Michelle (Brian) Nystrom of TX and Kimberly(Charles)Hogle of FL; and 8 grandchildren; brothers, identical twin Roger Lettis, and John Lettis of FL.
Dick retired after 30 years of service at Eastman Kodak in 1998 and also from the Greece Central School District in 2009. He was a member of Greece Calvary Chapel and assisted in the Cafe Ministry. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam crisis. He enjoyed many hours of fishing, hunting and loved the great outdoors.
Family and friends may visit on Saturday April 10th from 1-4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Memorial Service to follow at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hildebrant Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626 or to the Greece Calvary Chapel, 85 Kuhn Rd., Rochester, NY 14612.
